Welcome to a new world of cruising when you step aboard the Norwegain Star.  The NCL's new shining Star in Hawaii, Norwegian Star a $400 million supership, is the largest cruise ship ever to set sail in the islands of Hawaii, accommodating 2,200 passengers and 1,100 crew members.

Purpose built with NCL's exclusive Freestyle Cruising in mind, the Norwegian Star has ten distinctive restaurants and 14 separate lounges and bars. In addition, the Norwegian Star has more private balconies and oceanview staterooms than any other ship in Hawaii.

DINING FACILITIES

Versailles Main Restaurant: An ornate first main dining room offering the traditional six-course dining experience. Located on Deck 6, aft; seats 375.

Aqua Main Restaurant: A contemporary styled second main dining room, offering a lighter modern menu. Special features include an open galley displaying the preparation of pastries and desserts. Located on Deck 6, forward; seats 374.

The SoHo Room: East meets West in this high-end Pacific Rim restaurant featuring a fusion of Californian, Hawaiian and Asian cuisine. This restaurant will feature a modern art gallery feel with a collection of modern pop art. Located on Deck 6; seats 132.

Ginza Restaurant: Features an a la carté section, a sit-up sushi and tempura bar, and a teppanyaki room. Through the show kitchen in the entrance area, passengers are visually introduced to traditional styles of preparation. Located on Deck 7; seats 193.

Le Bistro French Restaurant: Featuring NCL's trademark Le Bistro menu of nouvelle cuisine and French classics. Located on Deck 6; seats 66.

Blue Lagoon: A 24-hour, food court-style eatery featuring hamburgers, fish and chips, pot pies and wok fast dishes. Located on Deck 7; seats 88.

Market Café/Kid's Café: Extending over a third of a deck and including trademark "action stations" featuring prepared-to-order omelets, waffles, fruit, soups, ethnic specialties, and pasta in addition to extensive and varied selections arranged along 130 yards of buffet and serving counters; kids are sure to love the Kid's Café with its kid-sized buffet, chairs and tables; located on Deck 12.

La Trattoria: Casual Italian restaurant serving pasta, pizza and other popular Italian fare; located on Deck 12 as an evening-only option within the indoor/outdoor buffet.

Las Ramblas Tapas Bar & Restaurant: Authentic Spanish Tapas restaurant and bar with full selection of hot and cold Tapas dishes and authentic entertainment. Located on Deck 13.

Endless Summer Restaurant: Hawaiian-themed restaurant arranged around the second level of the central atrium and incorporating a performance stage and large movie screen. Located on Deck 8; seats 180.


LOUNGES/BARS

Havana Club: Cigar club offering hand-rolled premium cigars, cognacs and spirits. Located on Deck 6.

Wine Cellar: Wine-tasting, display and sales. Located on Deck 6.

Gatsby's Champagne Bar: Art Deco Champagne bar ideal for pre-dinner cocktails or glass of champagne. Located on Deck 6; seats 66.

Java Cafe: Café outlet with majestic atrium view located in the Atrium on Deck 7. Serves frozen coffees, expresso, cappuccino, tea, pastries and cookies. Seats 56.

The Red Lion Pub: This traditional style English pub is where passengers can enjoy a pint and a game of darts or pool. The bar is equipped with a large television screen for viewing the latest sporting events. Seats 105.

Internet Cafe: Computer, Internet facilities and computer lecture/training area. Located on Deck 9; seats 51.

Main Pool Bar: Pool bar located on Deck 12.

Grill Area: Located on the Rainbow Pool Deck 12. Serves barbecue food.

Sprinkles Ice Cream Bar: Ice cream bar serving the Rainbow pool area; located on Deck 12.

Gym & Spa Bar: Health food snacks and drinks servicing the gym and spa area. Located on Deck 12.

Star Bar: Majestic views of the Rainbow Pool and out to sea. Guests can enjoy a cocktail while listening to the piano. Located on Deck 13; seats 91.

Bier Garten: Cote D'azure terrace ambiance. Offering beer, cocktails and refreshing drinks. Located on Deck 14; seats 100.


ENTERTAINMENT

Stardust Theater: Traditional European opera house ambiance, reaching up three decks. Located on Decks 5, 6 and 7 with a capacity for 1,150 persons.

Dazzles Nightclub: Nightclub/Cabaret Room. Located on Deck 6; seats 388.

Karaoke Circus/Bar: Circus-themed Karaoke bar. Located on Deck 7; seats 131, including five private rooms.

The Spinnaker Lounge: Located in the forward part at the top of the vessel is this panorama lounge styled with a yachting ambiance. Horizontal windows in the floor allow views of the bridge. The stage can also be used as a dance floor. Two adjoining rooms are available for private parties or conferences. Located on Deck 12; seats 504 persons.


SPORTS & FITNESS

Barong Spa & Fitness Center: This recreation and wellness area is located aft on Decks 11 and 12. The reception area features a waterfall descending though its own atrium. Passengers can work out in the gymnasium, relax in the extensive health facilities.

Spa Pool and Jacuzzi Area: Exercise pool located on Deck 11 in the Spa area. The longest indoor pool on a cruise vessel.

Hair and Beauty Salon: Hair and beauty center with beauty therapy rooms. Located on Deck 11 in the spa area.

The Oasis Pool: Main outdoor pool area. Ambiance is Cote D'Azure beach Riviera with terraced areas featuring sun loungers, tables and chairs, and beach umbrellas. Located on Deck 12.

Sports Deck: Located on Deck 13. This area features a golf driving range, volleyball and basketball court.

Jogging Track: Located on Deck 13, the jogging track has a total length of 360 yards (five laps equals a mile).

Star Deck: Forward on Deck 13, this area is perfect for viewing the open seas and sunbathing. This area also features a Jacuzzi.
